Our story
For nearly 30 years, the Pelham family has been dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children and families. From a home daycare in Wichita to a home center in Woodinville, our journey has always been guided by a deep love for children and a commitment to their growth and well-being.
That same passion led Mrs. Elaine Pelham to join Kiddy Corner, where she shared her warmth and wisdom with staff and families alike. Her dedication was so inspiring that the center’s then-owner entrusted Elaine and the Pelham family with its future.
Since 2001, Nicole Pelham has carried forward this legacy, continuing to foster a family-centered culture where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Over the years, Kid’s Corner Childcare has been a place of joy, discovery, and lifelong learning, touching the lives of thousands of families.

My name is Rosalba you can call me “Rosa” I been working at Kids’ Corner childcare since 2000. I was born and raised in El Salvador central America and I moves to the U.S. when I was 15th years old. I speak Spanish and English and enjoy teaching both to the children. Working with children has been my passion for the last 22 years. I strive for a developmentally appropriate child center atmosphere that will foster the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child in my care.
To meet this goal, we’ve develop a schedule and curriculum based on my belief that kids learn from constructive play.
I believe that having a warm and welcoming environment that encourages learning through experience and regular repeated activities that will encourage a positive self-esteem, creativity, self-awareness and problem solving.
I believe that each child is unique and they all have a different way of learning, we just need to help them find their interests, skills and natural intelligence.
